Kailua Beach Adventures 2 hour Guided Oahu Kayaking Excursion offers a great chance for beginning kayakers to explore the beautiful waters of Oahu. This Waikiki kayaking trip is a great introduction to kayaking in Waikiki, and also includes snorkeling and boogie boarding. A brief instructional session is given to teach guests how to paddle and navigate on their kayak. Your professional guide will then assist you in launching your kayaks at Kailua Beach Park, where this fun-filled Oahu kayaking trip begins. Guests will paddle through calm waters from Kailua Beach Park out to beautiful Popo'ia Island, a protected seabird sanctuary. As you approach Popo'ia Island, look for large Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles as you pass through their natural feeding ground.
Once you've landed upon the white sands of Popo'ia Island, enjoy a 20 minuted guided eco-hike around this pristine bird sanctuary. You guide will help point out Wedge-Tailed Spearwater, Rock Crabs, Rainbow Runners and other marine life as you explore the hidden tide pools of Popo'ia Island. After a light snack, your Oahu kayaking trip continues on as you paddle back and enjoy lunch. After lunch there is 2 hours of free time to enjoy the beach. Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks will supply boogie boards and snorkeling equipment. Enjoy 2 more hours of fun at Kailua Beach Park - snorkeling, riding waves, or just relaxing at this beautiful coastal park. You can even rent a bike and head to beautiful Lanikai Beach, rated one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Waikiki Roundtrip Transportation:
Roundtrip transportation from Waikiki area hotels is available for an additional fee for the 9:15 am tour only. If you book your tour with transportation, the exact pick-up time and location depends on where you are staying and will be emailed with your confirmation.

Minimum age of 5 years for private group tours.
Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Participants under age 17 must ride in a double kayak with a parent or guardian.
Guests will need to transport their kayak to/from the beach via cart (5-10 minute walk).
All guests must be able to swim at least 15 yards and be in reasonable physcal condition. A U.S. Coast Guard Approved Type III PFD must be worn but is no substitute for the ability to swim.
Everyone in the party must be able to swim or you will not be able to go on the tour and will not receive a refund within the cancellation policy.
Guests with disabilities should contact the Kailua Beach Adventures Manager at least 24 hours prior to tour date for accommodations.
Activities are offered rain or shine. If Kailua Beach Adventures decides weather conditions provide a concern for safety they reserve the right to cancel, delay, alter, refund or reschedule a tour. They will usually still operate up to 22 mph trade winds or from non trade winds sustained winds less than 15 mph and gusts under 22 mph. The exterior reef protects Kailua Bay in nearly all ocean conditions. Rentals & Self-Guided kayak tours to the Mokulua Islands will be restricted when there is a High Surf Advisory that requires it.
