Paradise Cove Luau’s popular Waikiki Luaus include a full 4 hours of food, drink, culture, entertainment and fun during an authentic Oahu Luau! Upon arrival at the Koolina Resort, guests will receive a personalized Polynesian Lei Greeting. Sip on a traditional Hawaiian Mai Tai while taking in a beautiful sunset from the soft white sands and swaying palms of Koolina Resort’s 12 acre oceanfront grounds. All Waikiki Luaus include a Polynesian Arts & Crafts demonstration, along with fun games for younger guests at Paradise Cove’s “Hawaiian Village”. Guests will participate in several ancient Polynesian traditions including the Shower of Flowers, and the traditional Hukilau ritual in which fishing nets are pulled from the sea to the rhythm of conch shell drums and island chants. As the sun sets, Paradise Cove’s Royal Court Procession begins, followed by the Imu Ceremony in which the Luau’s underground-roasted pig is “unearthed” for feasting! Guests will then enjoy a delicious buffet dinner of traditional and modern Hawaiian fare. The Deluxe Dinner Package VIP Royal Box Seating includes a ide in a replica of a traditional Hawaiian canoe.
