North Shore Catamaran Whale Watching 2 1/2 Hours Of the many Waikiki Activities offered by Waikiki Tours, Waikiki whale watching is one of the most popular and the North Shore Catamaran 2 ½ hour tour offers that memorable experience! Cruise along Oahu’s North Shore and experience a breathtaking panorama resembling a turn of the century painting while you watch for the magnificent Hawaiian Humpback Whales, or Na Kohola, as they are called in Hawaii! Last season there were over 700 sightings and two double breeches in the Haleiwa Harbor Channel! Your friendly captain will share the history of the island with you as he searched for these majestic creatures! Hawaiian Humpback Whales are a very important part of the marine biology ecosystem and a delightful part of the Hawaii visitor experience during the winter months! Be sure to include the North Shore Catamaran Whale Watching 2 ½ cruise as one of your Waikiki tours as you will be awed by the majesty of these creatures and humbled by your own fragility! North Shore Catamaran Charters places a great emphasis on responsible tourism and it is their goal to educate and respect the natural environment of the whales. To fully enjoy your Waikiki whale watching tour, please be prepared to bring your glasses or contacts if you need them as well as a still or video camera with a telephoto lens.
